New album with augmented reality karaoke!

The cd booklet contains a marker that fans can hold up to their computers’ webcams to launch an “augmented reality” karaoke session on Kingston’s website.

So, get ready to sing “Fire Burning” along with a singer’s avatar that will invite you to follow his choreograph dance moves. Once the show is finished, you will be invited to upload the video to any social network you’d like or even to the artist site.

“No one has done this before. It’s different and I think it’s going to blow up.”

Says the 19-years-old Kingstone

“It’s all about the one-to-one marketing that we as labels tend to lose,”

Says Epic executive vice president of marketing Lee Stimmel.
