Magazines industry goes Augmented

Red Bull just launched an ARvertising campaign to enrich their Red Bulletin magazine. It uses an Adobe Flash version of Imagination natural feature tracker and does therefore not require proprietary plug-ins.

The cover and multiple pages (any page with the Bull’s eye) can be activated by pointing the webcam.

It sounds like it might be the ending point to the use of B&W markers for Augmented Reality.

This magazine sings, dances, flies and even scores a touchdown…
